We are going through an exciting growth phase and are looking for someone to fill a Production sales rep role in Port Macquarie, NSW.
About You
Are you a charismatic and enthusiastic individual with a genuine passion for the live production industry? With at least two years of hands-on experience in live production and a solid year in sales, you blend technical expertise with a knack for client relations.

As a natural problem solver, you love diving into the intricacies of production setups, from Allen and Heath Consoles to Blackmagic Vision Switchers. Your interest in cutting-edge technology and equipment drives you to constantly learn and innovate.
Proactive and communicative, you build rapport easily and enjoy engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions that exceed expectations. Your responsiveness and honesty foster trust and long-term relationships, making you a reliable point of contact for all client needs.
You excel at using inventory management software like Current RMS to ensure everything runs smoothly. You take pride in your organisational skills and your ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure without compromising on quality.

Role Overview
As a production sales rep you play a crucial role in bringing in and securing work for the company and maintaining strong relationships with our customers. Your role is to help assist and guide clients along the journey when they require equipment hire, production services and installations or product sales. You also need to have a sound understanding of the other services the company offers such as entertainment and event management services and always be looking at an opportunity for us to assist clients with those services too.
To succeed in this role, you need to have strong Sound, Lighting, Vision, Staging and overall event experience. You can lean on the Director of Production and Production Ops Managers for assistance to ensure we offer the client the right solution and that we can successfully deliver that to the client in a profitable way. The Sales role needs to have a strong understanding of our inventory and be able to use Current RMS (Inventory Management software) to ensure equipment is available on the required date. Current RMS will be the main software used for creating quotations, this then extends into the job delivery stage.
The Sales rep will have strong communication skills and not be afraid to pick up the phone and talk to the client. You need to be prompt in responding to customer needs and be honest with the customer if there is a problem. You need to have the ability to say no to the client if they are wanting us to do something outside the scope of work or that goes against our company policy.
Once converting a job to an order the production sales will work closely with the ops manager to gather and collate information to ensure the successful delivery of the event. The sales rep will make scheduled contact with the client to ensure everything is going as planned and just to check in incase something may have been missed or there is a change in information.
The Sales rep will be supplied with leads from phone calls or the website enquiry form however you need to be constantly looking for new opportunities, touching base with old clients and making follow ups to ensure KPIs are being met and the company is utilising all its available contacts.

Gathering all required information for a job and creating workbooks for Prod Ops Manager and Technicians
Indicators of Effectiveness (KPI)

Overall success is consistently bringing in work to the company that is in line with what we do and profitable to complete

Meeting KPIs set out by Production director, The Main KPI being landing profitable production jobs in the mid north coast region. This will be measure by Number of new quotes per month, Conversions to paying Jobs, Revenue Generated and profitability of contract per quarter.
Necessary Skills and Attributes

Minimum 2 years in the live production industry

Minimum 1 Years Sales Experience

Strong Sound, Lighting, Vision skill set.

Experience setting up and dismantling Production Set Ups

Experience with Production equipment with the knowledge to understand what type of product is required for a specific event need
